Kitty Prototype Question

Hey all. Quick question. I can't remember who purchased a kitty prototype from that seller that had a bunch of LPS prototypes(the one I got my stable from). There was a kitty figure that we didn't know what it belonged to. I came across this set and was wondering if this was the same mold. It looks super adorable!

I ended up with one of them. That totally looks like it! nice find.
Is it Kenner? Or tonka?

It's Kenner I believe. It was a limited release that I guess didn't sell well.

Where do you find this stuff!
The dolls' legs are too short I reckon; makes them look weird.

My theory on the cat is that originally, in super super early LPS prototypes, they were smaller. Like the size of the hungry kitties cats, and this cat here. And when they had that original play test session, that you have the transcript of, one of the things that came out of it was that they were too small.

But those prototypes were still lying around the kenner workshops, and eventually some saw life as the hungry kitties and needn feedn dogs (and I suspect the ginea pigs too) and this little cat ending up in this other toy line.

Anyways that's my theory.
