I came across this MP collector article. Very well written and hits many key feelings I have had as a toy collector as well. :D

This is awesome! I remember feeling the same way when I confessed my love of LPS to my husband. He asked to see them, shifted a bunch of stuff off our shelves to make room for them, encouraged me to collect more. It was awesome.

Of course, with my collecting LPS it gave him permission to collect action statuettes and now they are one every flat surface of our house!
