Paint?

Postby 8Caroline8 » Sat Oct 11, 2014 6:01 pm

I am just wondering if anybody has any experience with what paint/product/brand to use when restoring littlest pet shop? Is there a top coat to make it feel glossy? Any advice would be great!

I do small touch ups with nail polish and the topcoat Seche Vite to glossing. Only downside is, I do not yet know how this holds up over the years.

I use Folk art brand acrylic paint. It works well and is not too expensive. As for the sealer/top coat, I use one called triple thick by deco art. It comes in several gloss levels and you can get it in a small jar, bottle or a spray can. I've used this on all my customs iv'e made.

I've used nail polish for touch ups (noses etc) and acrylic modelling paint suitable for use on plastics.

Hi,

I've used Humbrol Enamel paint for my LPS renovations. I've got a black glossy paint for the noses and the eyes.
