2018 (or 2019?) Littlest Pet Shop Calendar

Postby jillrose » Fri Oct 20, 2017 6:54 am

Hi all! I'm taking the initiative to move the LPS Calendar idea into its own thread, separate from "Seasonal Pets." I'm kind of in love with this idea. I already know a place we could get it done: vistaprint.com! They're so easy to use and I've had great experience with them for custom printed gifts in the past.

So! Let's start voting on which sets to feature! Here are some ideas based on the Seasonal pets thread. Feel free to make suggestions!

JAN
Twinkling Sledding Party

FEB
Zoo Polar Pets + Pete & Penny Penguin in honor of Valentine's Day

MAR
Hop n Hide Bunnies + Chirping Birds maybe?

APR
Easter Bunnies + Lamb + Mommy Hen and chicks

MAY
Swans + Ducks maybe?

JUNE
Water Garden Kitties (pond with lights makes me think of early summer!)

JULY / AUG
Slippy Seal
Turtles/Tortoises
Jumping Frogs
I'm sure we could get all of these into the photos somehow??

SEPT / OCT / NOV
Autumn seemed the trickiest...here's what we all thought of as "fall" pets.
Monkeys, Clubhouse Kitties (no leaves on their trees)
Gerbils & Hamsters (class pet back to school vibes)
Chirpy Tree Friends (tree)
Zoo Indian Ponies (colors)
Let It Pour Pup (raincoat / windy vibes)

DEC
Ice Palace Ponies (I could see working them into a Christmas scene fairly easily - inspired by the 2015 Christmas card that Joey sent me!)
Most Wanted: fakie baby pets!

I love all the sets you chose! For fall, I think the school pets for September, chirpy tree friends for October, and monkeys/clubhouse kitties for November would be my vote

Oh wait, I forgot about Let It Pour Pup, I think he should be November and all the tree sets could be October? Young the Indian ponies would be fun too though. Maybe Indian ponies and chirpy tree friends for October?

I love all of this. I'd be fine with any of them. What a joy to see LPS sets in a Calendar everyday. :D

Hey guys! Cool idea! How is this going? Let me know if you need any help. I've been wanting to break out my LPS someday again. Life has been so crazy and with doll collecting my LPS have fallen by the wayside!
Also I think the carousel would be great for August/september since that is often carnival/fair time!
Is seriously addicted to all things adorable.

All my pet shops will likely stay very much packed away until we move house, but I'm keen to make the 2019 Calendar!

What a neat idea!
To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else, means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.
