*GERMAN* Variants

Postby LPS-in-Germany » Sat May 24, 2014 2:29 pm

The following pictures show german variants of packaging - as you can see, all of them without tabs. They seem to be part of Misty's collection...

I was accompanied by the last pic for a long time. Misty posted it along with the following sentence:
"looks like the german sets have a different pet presents card..." I was addicted to "Meine Kleine Tierwelt" right from the beginning of production, but I had NEVER seen a card like that. When I discovered the following, I knew why...

It was a promotional catalog with an intgrated memory-game from - so far - unknown origin!

Ok, here we go!! The second variant of the german Care center box has been arrived... :D :D
From what we know so far, this is an exclusive german production. No other european variant of the same style has been found so far.

It is not only the packaging itself which is so special. First of all it shows the typical variant of character card for the flea-kitty and the puppy with the broken leg, but it also shows a variant of check-up card which is different from other european (and german) releases.

I was sooo excited for it to arrive :) :)

Is the rubbery plastic only with the German Variants? Does anyone know? I know it's weird but I really like the texture of that plastic and i was just curious.

I'd love to get an answer for that, too...

Until Sarafina got her rubberish variants of Beethoven Puppies, I was pretty sure that all those rubberish variants come from Germany. In the meantime I am not sure anymore...

I never got a rubberish pet or accessoiry from the states. Especially some food dishes, the Deep Sea Diver's snail & the rubberish ducklings seem to me as if the were only sold in Germany. It is interesting to note that I got all those from german sellers.
